After a short period of absence from the blog, today I go back to writing because for a few days we have been thinking about some ideas that could temporarily change the implementation path of the Green House. These thoughts return to become alive because the strong desire to want to achieve something concrete continues to grow in us, but as it will be easy to imagine, starting today an expenditure as important as that of a new house, is worrying for a series of reasons that I leave to you imagine, first of all the purely economic one.
However, the desire to own something more than just a piece of land came back and the idea was still to move towards a less demanding investment than to build, to buy a house. Well, the idea of the garden does not deny that it still attracts us a lot, but to be realistic, today as nowadays there is a lack of time to keep an apartment of 70 square meters in order and the idea of maintaining a garden, would only make things worse.
So the searches for the less expensive solution of an apartment have started, even if on tiptoe, and given the period in which we find ourselves, I think it is not impossible to find some solution that can be considered ‘a bargain’. Unfortunately in recent years the prices of the real estate market have grown disproportionately and today the situation of great suffering seems to be on the verge of taking a shy step backwards.
The sought-after characteristics are mainly linked to the fact that the building has to be restored, therefore potentially customizable in every detail, that it has a livable terrace that can be enjoyed in the warmer months and possibly located near the center. Among the solutions examined there are some really interesting ones, and one in particular, although small in size, has a really high potential as it is in its raw state, but in a newly renovated building. Below have already taken off the most absurd thoughts about what and how to do things, which, even if they are premature as thoughts, unfortunately are inconceivable to me.
The bitterness in the mouth for this decision is a lot and I do not deny that starting the Green House would have been really exciting and perhaps our greatest present desire, but alas we don’t really feel it. Too much meat on the fire and still few certainties to embark on a cyclopean undertaking like this. Moreover a question mark not just, the mortgage question, which for two self-employed workers like myself and his sweetheart, would have yet to be submitted to the last verdict of the dear friend bank.
